Topic: 3DNLC2SHCC for atena engineering 2D

Hello!

is there any possibility to use 3DNLC2SHCC in atena engineering 2D?

I am asking because the parameters that can be used in this model seem to be more appropriate (more specific) than the ones from 3DNLC2User for the analysis i am doing (UHPFRC shear beams with compact cross-section).

Thank you for helping! smile

Dear marcel.gerhard,
please see ATENA Troubleshooting, 2.2.3 How can I model Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC, UHPC, SHCC) in ATENA? for basic information related to representing such materials.

The Cem2SHCC is essentially identical to the Cem2User, except for the shear settings, and is targeted for plastic fibres. In other words, you need to define almost the same number of functions, only the shear ones are generated automatically based on the fibre-related data, but the generation formulas have been developed for plastic fibres, and can not really work well for steel or other fibre materials.
