Hello mike,
I assume you have already read ATENA Troubleshooting, 2.2.3 How can I model Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC, UHPC, SHCC) in ATENA? and 2.2.4 I want to use the user-defined stress-strain law of concrete to replace that used in ATENA program. How can I do it?
I guess you might also be interested in the preliminary version of our new FRC Tutorial, http://www.cervenka.cz/assets/files/ate … al_FRC.pdf

If you still can not solve the issue, please send us your model etc. following ATENA Troubleshooting, 2.1.1.

Regards.

Hello,

I am modelling a ultra high performance fibre reinforced beam for a four point bendingt test.
I am using Atena 2D and the 3D Non Linear Cementitious 2 User Material.
The used tensile function relates to a characteristic length of 5 mm. For that reason I applied following parameters:

l_ch = 0.005m
mesh_size = 0,005m
Epsilon_loc according to the tensile function
....

I want to determine the force-deflection-graph for this four-point-bending-test.
The graph is correct up to the peak but afterwards a sudden decrease of the force occurs.

Could you please help me to find the problem.

Best regards
