Dear Ashan, if you have problems with your graphics card, start GiD in Software OpenGL / Safe Mode. We always recommend video boards designed for CAD, e.g., nVidia FX series or ATI FireGL/FirePro series.

You should also use the latest GiD version (currently, 10.0.5).

Hello,

I have started working in ATENA Science -GiD Tutorial in Demo version in order to know the capability of GiD. I strated with the typical problem as given in Part 4-6.
I gave the coordinates input (0,0,0), (1.275,0,0), (1.275,0.19,0), (0,0.19,0) following the steps and finally used the command View/ Zoom/Frame to be able to view the coordinates in the full screen. Unfortunately the coordinates did not appear on the screen.

My working screen is black. I tried to change it , but could not do it.

I guess that it is very silly problem, still I could not solve it.

Solicit your suggestions.

Thanking you in advance.

Regards

Ahsan
