			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Dear Irene, Y grid spacing equal to half meter simply means leaving the default value unchanged, as the value is not important while working in the XZ-plane (as you say). However, while the out-of plane coordinate remains fixed, it must not always be zero - an offset can be defined.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Referring to &#039;Tutorial for Program ATENA 3D&#039; Version March 2010, chapter 3.4.1 Grid Setting, under the parameter input for steel plates in the example, the origin is selected (0.165, 0, 0.32). The working plane is XZ plane. As for the step, X=0.05, Y=0.5, Z=0.03. My question is why there is value for Y-axis? As the working plane is XZ plane. Is it suppose to be 0 same as Y in the origin?</p><p>Thank you.</p>]]></content>
