Dear Teresa, the Collapse command automatically removes double entities (e.g., points at the same coordinates, or identical lines), it does not create anything, especially no lines connecting some points.

Dear Sir,

I am using GiD for imporing a .txt file with point cooridnates through File/Import/XYZ point. I've ticked "Automatic collapse after import" and set small Import tolerance, but still, the import neighboring points are not automatically connected to lines. I don't know what the problem is. Thank you!

Regards,
Teresa
