Looks similar to a problem with an older version - please try if the DLL registration fix from our web changes anything

Just a few more checks:

Have you reinstalled Atena as an Administrator?

Do you have the 32bit or 64bit version of WinXP?

I am using alocal hardware key.
I installed the Aladdin drivers from the CD and it didn't work.

I assume the error occurs when starting Atena 2D (i.e., not later as, e.g., when generating mesh or starting analysis), that you have enough free disk space, that you are logged in with the same user ID as before, and that you have not changed any user/group rights on the system.

Do you use a local or network hardware key?

If local, I would suggest to reinstall the Aladdin drivers (from the Atena CD, or, better, the latest from our or Aladdin Web).

If network, please check if Atena 2D works on other computers in the same network?

The ATENA is not working and giving an Error message

I am facing a problem with the ATENA 2D. It is not working. It is giving the following error message.
"Access violation at address 00BD2530 in module 'CCATEN~1.DLL'. Read of address 00000028"
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the ATENA, it didnt work. I tried to save ATENA on a different folder, it didn't work. I tried to reinstall Windows, it is not working.
What should I do?
I have ATENA version 3.3.2f and Wondows XP Pro.
ATENA 3D and Atena Win are working with no problems.
I had this problem after running the ATENA on 7 files at the same time.
