You can assign "mesh compatibility" to the artificial contacts between the MEs to have a compatible mesh throughout the original ME being replaced.

I tried to mesh a  beam with opening with brick type but my macroelement mesh convert to tetra type.
I must divide beam to 4 part for meshing with brick type. how do it?
