Topic: Post Tensioned Concrete Beam in 3D modeling

Hi,

I want to model the post tensioned concrete beam with stirrups in ATENA to get the load deformation. Please provide any tutorial for doing so.

Thank You.

Re: Post Tensioned Concrete Beam in 3D modeling

Dear pvmrao, I assume you have already proceeded with the basic Tutorial example (Professor Leonhard's Shear Beam = ATENA Engineering 2D Tutorial or ATENA Engineering 3D Tutorial or ATENA Science-GiD Tutorial depending on which of the ATENA programs you work with).

If you work with ATENA Engineering, see sections 2.6 Prestressed concrete beam (INTB) and 2.8 Beam with external cables (EXTC) of the ATENA Engineering Example Manual and the corresponding examples included in ATENA Installation "%Public%\Documents\ATENA Examples\Engineering\Example Manual\EXTC", "%Public%\Documents\ATENA Examples\Engineering\Example Manual\INTB".

Regards.

Re: Post Tensioned Concrete Beam in 3D modeling

Dear dpryl,

I found the post tensioned beam without stirrups (INTB.cc3) but I need the documentation for that model. So that I can model our test beam with stirrups. If you have the documentation for the INTB.cc3 model kindly share it.

Thank You.

All the referred documents are included in ATENA installation and also available for separate download from our web (Products - ATENA - Documentation).
