OK, thank you for your reply. If this is the case, then I think the material should not be available in Creep module under the name "Creep Reinforced Concrete", it is a bit confusing.
I will try the discrete reinforcement.
Good evening, the material ReinforcedConcrete is not (yet) supported for Creep, and I am also not 100% sure about Shells with smeared reinforcement layers (you can try...). Please use discrete reinforcement when working with the Creep module.
Good afternoon,
I am trying to use Creep Reinforced Concrete material (CCCombinedMaterial) for foundation slab in quite complex 3D model of prestressed concrete containment. I am receiving following messages immediately after beginning of the analysis:
(Thread 1) CCFPExc: System exception: Access violation
Source line: 110, file: ..\..\Sources\CCUtils\CCFPExc_ComDef.cpp, last modified at: Fri Aug 8 11:59:19 2014
(Thread 1) CCFEModelExc: Multiple thread exception occured 1 times.
Source line: 327, file: ..\..\Sources\CCFEModel\calculate_global_data.cpp, last modified at: Fri Jun 6 14:54:07 2014
I am quite sure the messages are caused by the use of the Creep Reinforced Concrete material, because:
a) They disappear when I change the material of the foundation slab to classic CCmodelB3 that I use for another parts of the concrete structure. In such a case, calculation begins without problems. But I would like to use the smeared reinforcement in the slab and this option is available only in the Creep Reinforced Concrete material.
b) There are the same problems when I use the same Creep Reinforced Concrete material in a very simple model consisting of just one cubic volume constrained on one surface and loaded by its self-weight only.
Is there something special I should be careful about when I use Creep Reinforced Concrete material? I can send you my models if it helps.
I am using Atena Science 5.1.2d.11514 Creep module (no newer version was found by Update Check) together with GiD 11.0.8 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit system.
Thank you and best regards,
Petr Bily
