Dear Pavlo, this is actually done automatically :-) I suggest to reduce the model size (using shells and beams for "for regions", elastic material where nonlinear effects are not important, ...). Have a nice weekend.

Dear Dobromil,
I also have problem with the results files (one step is about 1 GB). Can I decrease it somehow? E.g., I'd like not to keep some specific data: Von Mises stress is not needed if there is no steel, cracks and tensile strength is not needed for elastic problem, I may want to miss some other data I don't use. Is it possible?
Dear arjun.vithalkar, it seems the model exceeds some internal numbering range, or the about 2GB file size limit. Or a full disk. Possibly some of the tips from Troubleshooting, 2.4.1 Out of memory error during ATENA analysis or 2.2.17 The analysis runs too long. How can I speed it up? can help you overcome this.
In any case, you can send us your model etc. following Troubleshooting, 2.1.1.
Regards.
While running an analysis using ATENA 2D, after a specific load step the analysis automatically stops giving me an error message saying "error when saving results! Integer overflow".
Because of this issue I cannot even save the analysis results till the penultimate load step (one load step before the error message).
What might be the reason of such an error and how to fix this?
