Follow this video step by step and create the model (not just watching), then you you will learn how to generate the brick elements mesh and how to sent the load data.

Good evening.

First of all, I'm pleased to use your ATENA program for analysis. I am currently aiming to perform an analysis of a beam-column joint specimen. Typically, for a beam-column joint specimen, axial force is introduced at the top of the column, followed by lateral loading.

I would like to ask about the following:

1. Could you guide me on the window settings that allow for axial force to be applied under load control, while the lateral force gradually increases under displacement control?
2. In the tutorials and other reference videos, the mesh appears as hexagonal. Why does it appear as triangular in my file?
3. The paper I am referencing is as follows:
- Nonlinear analysis of interior and exterior beam-column connections under reversed cyclic loading
A Tambusay et al 2023 IOP Conf. Ser.: Earth Environ. Sci.

If there’s any mistake in my current modeling, please let me know just this once.

Thank you.
