Dear loerchfabian,
in ATENA Engineering 2D, you find the Contact options in the Line properties. However, please note the if you select "No connection", it means the 2 neighbouring elements can overlap without any resistance (which may not be what you need and which requires additional attention to make sure the equation system does not become singular).

Please see also ATENA 2D User's Manual, 4.5.3 Lines and 4.4.3.2 Interface Material, and ATENA Troubleshooting, 2.2.14 I have problems when using the Interface (GAP) material on contacts.

Hallo

I´m a newbie in Atena. I will calculate a spezial experiement with atena. I need two concrete elements without a connection, only the reinforcement bar are in both elements. How can I generate two macro-elements next togther without a connection in ATENA 2D? I know in ATENA 3D exist a tool contacts. I can´t find the similar tool in ATENA 2D! Thanks for your help.
