Hello Petr,
Can you please let me know what material are you using in GID for concrete ?
Or send me your model with the problem  to cervenka@cervenka.cz

Hello,

I am modelling composite steel-concrete frame joint with fiber reinforced concrete slab in Atena Science. I would like to know shear retention factor of fiber reinforced concrete. In the literature I found a procedure for calculating only in case of rebars reinforcement (ATENA Program Documentation, Part 1, Theory), not for dispersed reinforcement. Can I use this procedure also for the case of dispersed reinforcement?

I suppose to multiply the volume of fibers (e.g. 1%) by 0.4 (effective orientation factor of steel fibers) to obtain a factor "p" that takes into account the degree of reinforcement. Is it correct procedure to obtain shear retention factor of fiber reinforced concrete?

Thank you.

Petr
