Hello Jan Cervenka,

Yes its true that our requirements are different.

I have tried ATENA GID on linux.. but its not working. May be this is the issue with the OS.

Thanks a lot for the immediate response.

Hello gouri,

thank you for your posting.

GiD is available on linux. It would be possible probably to install also the script files for ATENA-GiD interface
on linux and they should be working. I assume so, but we have not tried. But unfortunately ATENA
is available only in Windows, so once you create your ATENA input on linux you will have to copy it
on a Windows computer and run the analysis over there. So I guess this is not what you want.

Sorry, but I cannot give you positive answer here.

With best regards

Jan Cervenka

Hi,

We have GID installed on linux OS.
I have used this ATENA-GiD Interface Build 2360 on Windows OS. I have following queries.

1. Weather ATENA GID Interface build is available for this OS.
2. Also our scenarios is we wish to generate parallel applications with various combination of node numbers, elements etc. which can be submitted on supercomputers. How much is possible with this Interface. for eg There are some problem types through which when integrated with GID generates *.tcl script which is input for OpenSees . And through Opensees parallel applications can be run on servers
