Topic: Pullout Behaviour

I am trying to model a single fiber pullout out behaviour in ATENA 3D v4. Since we cant directly apply load to the reinforcement in ATENA, I modeled a plate with high stiffness and applied tension force at the fiber free end  through this plate. but when i try to run the analysis, i get the following error:

(*)    Warning: Principal node (reinforcement bar 1 - point 1) has not been fixed while generating  macro element id: 805306369, name: Count of segments 1 in Bar Element 805306369 type: CCDiscreteReinforcementME.
(*)    Warning: Principal node (reinforcement bar 1 - point 2) has not been fixed while generating  macro element id: 805306369, name: Count of segments 1 in Bar Element 805306369 type: CCDiscreteReinforcementME.

Kindly help me with some ideas.

Re: Pullout Behaviour

First, we strongly recomment updating to the current ATENA version (5.1.2). Most likely, you will need to update the license information in your HASP key(s), please see "Manual to upgrade your HASP for ATENA v5" in the Downloads section of our web. If your maintenance has already expired, please contact us for a renewal offer.

For basic ideas on modelling pull-out tests, please see ATENA Troubleshooting, 2.2.12 How can I model a pull-out experiment? The current version of the document is also available for separate download from our web (Products - ATENA - Documentation).

If you can not solve the problem, please send us your model etc. following Troubleshooting, 2.1.1.
