Topic: Beam elements in Atena
Dear all,
I've tried to use beam elements in Atena but it appears that beam elements cannot be defined in Atena 3D. This program appears to allow only brick elements. Is that true?

Dear BP, the threaded beam elements are so far only available through ATENA Science (GiD as preprocessor - see the material "BEAM Concrete" in ATENA-GiD). ATENA Engineering 3D only supports volume (hexahedra and tetrahedra) and shell elements (and 1-D reinforcement bars and contact/GAP elements).
