Topic: Modeling shear connectors in interface shear failure test
Hello,
I am simulating the interface shear test example from the manual using ATENA studio, and pre-processing in GiD. To study the effect of shear connectors on the interface, I'm modelling reinforcement perpendicular to the interface. However I'm getting same results as in the model without shear connectors. Any specifics/suggestions on how to model the shear connectors

Re: Modeling shear connectors in interface shear failure test
Dear arjun.vithalkar,
please see ATENA Troubleshooting, 2.2.10 How can I take the bending and/or shear contribution of reinforcement bars into account? The current version of the document is available from our web under Products - ATENA - Documentation.
Regards.
