Dear sir
I want to model a tension linke
my tendons are post tensioned unbonded bars that I define them external cables as you say
now i want to model them "compression-prevented" ,I mean condition that bar is rigid in tension and slack in compression.
I dont know how I can do that
can you help me plaese

Dear elham_ho64, uncheck the box "Active in Compression" in the Basic tab of the reinforcement material definition.

which version of ATENA are you talking about,I am using 3.3.2
I cant find this box!

I am afraid ATENA 3.3.2 can not be supported any more. Please upgrade to the latest version, 4.2.7g, which is available to all users with valid maintenance agreement. The upgrade installer can be downloaded from our web or you can request the installation CD to be mailed to you.
