Topic: Anisotropic material properties

Hi there,

I would like to define a material with anisotropic material proprties. I have some unidirectional FRP material with strength in only one direction I would like to model.

It is possible to define this in Atena?

Hello Robin, please read the paragraph "How to model carbon or glass fibre wrap (CFRP, GFRP) strengthening in ATENA?" from our Frequently Asked Questions page at http://www.cervenka.cz/faq - in short, use smeared reinforcement to add stiffness+strength in the fibre direction(s).
